No, I did not know about vam until a read some after you posted the coin. That is why we are here, to learn something. I see ANACS is the company to use for this type of grading.

001.jpg 003.jpg 004.jpg 005.jpg W#hat makes this unique to me is its shape and how smart was the Austrialan goverment to produce it. It is a limited edition was only available at the Expo.....now just think if the US mint had come up with a coin shaped like the US. Yes I know alot of people may not like this because it's a modern coin.....but it's very well done....I believe only 30000 minted with only 1000 sold outside of the expo

Yes ANACS is the best TPG for VAM's of course if you ask around some people are partial to PCGS or NGC. It's all about the coin for me though.

I'm a vam man myself, most of sold over 100 of them on ebay in my day ! I got a bad taste in my mouth when grading companies want 18 dollars to grade, and 12 dollars for the vam ! I wouldn't mind paying the 12 dollars for the vam, but they want you to tell them the vam number ! then what do I need the grading company for !

I agree with you on your statement Rick. It's unfortunate that you have to do half the leg work for the TPG in order to get the VAM recognized and no discount for your work lol.

That is one of the reason, A Major Dramatic Errors and variety of a doubled denomination. Mr. Alan Hager never intent to put any Numerical Number but instead think a very special name as 1995 Penny On Dime-Mint.-ACG- Holder. wow! with Skull break and a crack die variety with mirror like in some areas obverse & reverse. Imposible to have a duplicate. Much the Best in all doubled denomination. A KING of 11c. :D
:hail: My own Monalisa in Numismatist World. The two top presidents voted by( 2000) presidential historian society among 41 presidents served in oval office. ( white house) plus a creepey one with the PAST,the Present and the FUTURE with a great story to tell.... PRICELESS...

Thanks also for your comments ERROR of all ERRORS...:D

That is a phenomenal looking whisker VAM. If you plan on moving it in the future, definitely get it graded and possibly CAC'd. That will net you a huge profit margin, congrats on the pick!!

Not in the same league with other coins here, but here is a clipped Indian I bought at a flea market from a seller for $0.25 who was lamenting the fact that someone would have cut this coin with some clippers.
