Interesting bills.
I ran across a fake $5 at a local restaurant this morning.
They have it taped to the wall.


I asked about it and took a couple pictures with a good bill.
The bill felt good, was a slightly small in size with no strip.
The clerk said it passed the pen test.

The bottom bill shows some ink removed from reserve as tapes removed.

Top bill in the reverse picture shows slightly smaller.

At my work (wal-mart) I had someone try to load a $420 prepaid credit card with a real $20 bill and 8 fake $50s. Not even good fakes, but printed on bleached paper. One of them still even said USA 10. No intaglio tripped me.

I managed to keep the woman trying to pass them around long enough for the police to arrest her. She was ratting out her boyfriend before the popo had her in cuffs. She had an abused girlfriend kind of vibe around her; kind of felt sorry for her as she was being marched away.
