Hi Jken, I have had some luck looking at pawn shops. A lot of times they have some coins that they have no idea what they are and you can get a good price on them.
Never littleton, everything is ridiculously overpriced. I haven't heard of American coin, you might find something good on ebay
Agree 100% Littleton caters to the novice collectors , that do not no what they are buying. Best bet is a local Coin Show or reputable Coin Dealer if available. EBAY is way to high because of the outreach to millions of viewers. What I did was join a Coin Club and learn from some members.
@spirityoda always speaks the truth. I would like to know about some price-friendly places too. The ones I've been recommended so far have far too few coins at prices I can afford — or am willing to pay.
Sam Same here. A few of the members here have already discouraged me from even trying the pawn shops in my wasteland of a town. I wouldn't have the patience to start one here.
I went over to the one bank we have in my town and got some rolls of pennies. Got a few wheat, but nothing crazy. Still worth the thrill of looking through them lol
Hey, welcome to CT. Hang around here and read some. There is a forum here where you can buy and sell coins.
Yes. PCGS collectors corner. It pulls listings from multiple places of various listings. http://www.collectorscorner.com/Coins/
