    That is a cent that looks like it may have spent some time dragged around in a parking lot. Damaged coin worth exactly one cent.......

    Correct.. Damaged.. They might not even take it at the Bodega.. Not even a Coinstar machine would accept that Cent.

    You might ask.. How could that damage occur?.. Well only the very bored person who did it would know that answer.

    From the larger picture of the reverse it looks like a "vice job" squeezed between a flat surface and the rev of a five cent piece. The shield shows a vague outline of the top of Monticello, and below the shiled along the edge you can see the reversed incused inscription E PLURIBUS UNUM.
