Well i know that it's been a very long time since I commented on this post unfortunately due to the fact that the coin was being rejected by several members of coin talk before I could even post a single photo of what the coin actually looked like to try and determine if it was infact environmental damage of some kind OR actually a REAL MINT ERROR COIN THAT WAS ACCIDENTALLY OR INTENTIONALLY GIVEN A MATTE FINISH BEFORE IT LEFT THE MINT .... Well anyway I decided to crack open the old trusty coin collection again and re-examine the coin more closely with a fresh pair of eyes along with photos of A REAL MATTE FINSHED COIN . AND GUESS WHAT PEOPLE .... TO MY SUPRISE I DISCOVERED THAT BOTH COINS APPEAR TO ACTUALLY HAVE THE SAME EXACT HEAVY FROSTED MATTE FINISH ALL ALONG WHICH TELLS ME THAT THIS COIN COULD POSSIBLY BE [ A ONE OF A KIND ] MINT ERROR DIME WITH A FROSTED MATTE FINISH .... AND SO IM JUST WONDERING WHO ON EARTH WOULD BE THE ABSOLUTELY BEST PERSON TO ALLOW THE COIN TO BE CLOSELY EXAMINED BY AND THAT TAKE HIGH DEFINITION PHOTOS OF THE FINISH ON MY COIN COMPARED TO ANOTHER MATTE FINISH COIN BEFORE ITS SIMPLY LABELED AS ENVIRONMENTAL DAMAGE WITHOUT EVER BEING EXAMINED AGAIN .... LOL
