What is a good camera and lense for taking photos of coins?

I use a point and shoot Nikon on a $8 table top tripod. Use the self portrait timer so you are not touching the camera when the shutter snaps. Do that for your phone camera as well.
For RPMs and such I use a loupe seen above.
