    I did, over on Collectors Universe, about a decade ago.

    Of course one can also just say "contrasting toning".

    But "Circulation Cameo" or "CircCam" is, if I do say so myself, catchier ... and more fun. :)

    Not the greatest example of circam. But I think the reverse of the 1949 looks pretty cool.

    Yes, these would be more "crusty" than "CircCam". By "crusty", I mean that in a mostly good way, as in "original". At least for your 1949, there. Your 1941-S has issues, as I'm sure you are aware. But it is a good example of how CircCam (or "crusty") copper-nickel alloy coins sometimes skate dangerously near (or in this case, across) the boundary of "environmental damage". The '49 does look nice and "crusty" in a good, original way. I suspect the striations on the reverse are from impurities in the alloy - the same thing that causes "woodgrain" toning on bronze cents.
