1575 English sixpence of Elizabeth I.

(PCGS anachronistically put "Great Britain" on the holder, though there would be no such combined nation until over 130 years after this coin was struck.)

I've about given up on posting pictures because they often just don't look right. But Ok, I had a try with my new cell phone. Not happy. The color looks a bit weird on my screen, but anyhow...and yes cleaned at some point, but I maintain it looks a lot better in hand.:)

    One Year Type.

If you're interested: (Gleaned from @chrisild ) All rulers on the coins of Reuss were named Henry. In both countries, the Reuss-Gera/Younger Line (including this coin), and the Reuss-Greiz/Elder Line, the princes, ruling or not, were all named Heinrich. The elder line numbered them from 1 to 100, and the younger line would start with 1 at the beginning of each century.

Yes, awesome coin, perfect CircCam, and the pictures are adequate. Just the thumbnail of it in your avatar intrigued me and I wanted to see more. Thanks.

Wow, I love this stuff. I would love to do a box of 20 of these types of coins someday.
