A very honest war cent. Nice find!
a toned zinc covered steely.
From the single photo, a somewhat corroded steel cent. "Steel" being key here.
What did you find indeed!
"D" or an "S" mint mark? I'm having problems seeing that! Either way, it's cool to find one of those while role hunting. I always through my wheat cents I find coin roll hunting in a tube until it gets full and then record my finds on my spreadsheet. I very rarely find any "43's but I hit a streak the other week with about 10 of them. Good find!
positively an "S" mm
Actors go role hunting.
Coin/silver collectors go roll hunting.
anyone know how to get in touch with the person with the african money? I hakve questions about a coin I have.
Yes.. you really need to start your own unique thread with questions and pictures.. Create the thread over at the Foreign Coin forum
Thank-you, Randy, but not the answer for which I had prayed, I must say. lol
Thank-you, Spirityoda. I remember you from my 2015 thread "1992 D Close AM?"
Thanks, Books. Bummers too, but it's a keeper.
MrsJo - It is a steel war cent. I only wish that it was a copper alloy.
Certainly an "S", and congratulations on your winning streak with the steelies!
