Thanks. You know the guys over at another forum told me it wasn't worth but about $400, I mean that's a lot, but there are a lot of coins worth more than that. I insured it when I sent it, and assumed it would be insured for the return. Learning a lot from this, for sure.

Another thing you have to remember about FedEx is that if no signature is required, they will just leave it at your door and will rarely ever knock. UPS? NEVER!

Great you got lucky!. Oh and in the future have them ship it via the USPS (registered if it is very valuable or a non-replaceable item. It is slower but safer.) Another reason NOT to have it shipped by FedEx is that they do not insure coins, including collectible coins. If they had lost it the most you would have gotten back from them was the insurance fee.
