What happened to this penny?

You've heard the expression "pennies from heaven"? Well this one came from the other place.

Looks like most of the cents I've found in parking lots. They're in my giant jar. What to do with them? My bank no longer has a counting machine, and I don't feel like paying 11% for CoinStar to count them for me at Walmart.

Wow coinstar gets 11 points isnt that usery? Anyway if i had large quantity i would just weigh them.

 

You can cash them out as a gift card with no surcharge, if there's someplace you'd be spending the money anyhow. But I'm betting a CoinStar would reject a lot of parking-lot coins, too.

 

You just made me a coinstar fan.

 

If that coin could tell it’s story I bet it would be filled with foul language.
