That is absolutely what has happened, the weight proves it. 9 pages and no one has been convinced that it is even remotely possible that it could be an error. The only thing you can do is send it in to one of the professional grading companies for attribution, but I suspect you wouldn't believe them either.

    Why are you yelling?
You said children can only learn when they are taught. Your statement is untrue. Children can learn on their own. Millions have.

You might pick up a dictionary too. It's somebody, not some body, as in a corpse for instance.

Give it up people. This person is clearly lost and no amount of facts, truth or common sense will ever help.

Whom ever made the damage is very creative. I would keep it, if for nothing else, conversation. Best of luck!

I was typing not yelling first of all and spacing is not my concern at this time. And you are wrong about children...example: if a child grows up and has never seen anybody smoke a cigarette- they will not know they exist.

    All caps is yelling online.

A child or anyone else can learn by their own volition without being taught. We've done it for thousands of years. Do you think humans learned because they always had a teacher? If that were the case, then everyone would only know the same things. Someone had to have original thoughts to progress.

Rudimentary examples of learning on your own without a teacher:

    1) A baby with no one around crawls over to a fire and sticks it's hand in.
No one there to teach the baby that it hurts. It learned by itself.
    2) If I walked up and poked you in the eye with my finger, you will learn I'm not nice.
    You are thinking too narrowly.
When you talk and write like this, no one will take you seriously. Is that what you want?

    Your point?

Oh! I know. I haven't learned my lesson to give up !

My point is that you have to be open to new ideas this way you can learn. Even if it applies to everybody on this thread. Don't get upset because an optimistic girl in denial learnt you something today. Just mark your calendar and move on. #serenity.

[I am not trying to be a hypocrite, but some situations are their own]

You are such a good teacher. I feel enlightened by your wisdom and have commissioned a bumper sticker to put on my Suburban in honor of this day.
No, I'm not upset. Actually I find this thread amusing. Kind of like a slow train wreck of coinage theories and terms.

Right or wrong, looks like the only name-calling / personal attacks (that I've noticed), are NOT by OP ....................

You have been taught wrong.. The striking of a coin has been studied since day one. First strike.

How and what do you think every predesesor to today has missed?

The striking chamber is thoroughly cataloged if you want to learn.

    Just ask.

@Lil ol' me. Did you see this coin that was posted by another member on April 15th. Very similar to yours. upload_2020-6-22_1-46-7.png
    It's not a mint error.
