What grades do we got heeya?

Im not versed in low grade coins.
What would you grade these 2 ?

Correct! "2". {We kid.} Actually, not being a low grade fan at all, I grade them "I don't care." i genuinely don't care how rare they are or are not. I won't collect ANYTHING below about VF or so. These don't cut it.

 

AG-3 for the Morgan
G-4 for the Walker

The 88-O Morgan is an oval O, VAM 17. The grade looks to be FR2, but as such is would be a pop. 1, none lower at PCGS (two are currently graded AG3). Congrats, if you hadn't already realized it!

The 21-S half I'd grade G4.

 

Yea i was trying to be sneaky about it. Hard to get one by you Messy. I guess thats why you get paid the big bucks!
Now, i just need to find someone who would appreciate such a coin. I dont really value lowball coins, but i dont know much about them either.

I will agree no matter how rare low ball coins do nothing for me ,or do I have them in my collection .

I would go FR-02 on the Morgan and G-04 on the Walker.

The best place to find the lowball crowd is on eBay or at Great Collections. If you were looking at trying to sell the Morgan, I personally would go the GC route and let Ian submit the coin to PCGS and list, then you can just sit back and wait for a check.

Not surprising. 88o p01 and fr02 lowballs are quite uncommon. I haven't looked at the pops but I've only seen maybe one or two 02's and I don't think I've seen a true 01. This one should straight grade too. I am a little leery of the 2 sides not quite matching but it still looks good.

 

I will buy every single Morgan you can offer me for $15. I will take out a loan to buy them if necessary.

 

I'll go FR02 for the Morgan and G04 for the Walker. While they are low grade, I think they look respectable for their grades.
