What grade would you give these coins?

Here is a sad lesson. I bought these two coins from a scumbag named jeff wherlin, aka jwcameo on ebay. I bought a goodly sum for them. I paid 700 for the pair, thinking I got a great deal, as those coins looked uber cam. Excitedly, I paid for a PCGS membership, and walked through the coins. Neither even came back a 66, let alone even cameo. So then I tried anacs (it may have been in reverse order). Same deal. All said and done I lost nearly 1000 dollars on the two coins.

It was although a lesson worth learning.

Also, airedale, the only way I could produce a photo showing before and after would be to:
A. buy expensive camera equipment or
B. Buy a coin from jeff, show his picture, and the take one myself.

Neither of which are worth my time or effort.

Ouch. Well we all learn by our mistakes Zane. To bad yours had to be a big one. They looked like nice coins though. Were those the original pics?
