Please don't turn this into a political discussion, then I will have to lock the thread. Thanks

    Gxseries' DUMBEST posting yet!

Lot of borderline stuff in this thread, but direct personal insults are definitely on the wrong side of that line.! Peter's right, this is a numismatic thread, not a politics thread,so let's keep it as a numismatic thread!

No it's NOT dumb. Your defination of British Commonwealth is digustingly wrong. If this thread gets locked up over this, I am more than happy to see so to prevent any more nonsense talk.

All numismatics materials in regards to British Commonwealth numismatics are specific to the era of British colonial era. Name me ANY materials in major numismatics magazine regarding about British numismatics (outside colonial era) other than YOUR self publication nonsense and I will read. As far as I have seen the magazines here in Australia, editors are quite careful to mention with care from the 80s then. I don't have maganizes / materials any older so I can't tell what the general opinion was before than.

Now seriously, why would you be booted from other forums if you happened to be such an 'expert' in particular six different forums that do have specialized section of "British" Commonwealth. It is extremely difficult to believe that they booted you for no reasons or simply disliked you. In fact, no one here has so far mentioned that they have been booted more than twice. For crying out loud, I am a member in some 10+ forums and perhaps the worst I had is a couple of notice of not being too hard on other members. But booted? No. Most people would smarten up after receiving warnings.

Aidan and gxseries - if you want to talk about the politics of what used to be the British Empire, we have a place for that discussion here at CoinTalk - the PRWE forum where you can argue to your heart's content without those of us who don't want to hear any more on that topic having to read about it.

As far as the questions of intelligence and character, just drop it. We all know your opinions of each other, and don't have to keep being reminded in more and more colorful language.

You know, of course, that there is an alternative to shutting down a thread when it wanders too far. Seriously offending posts can be removed without shutting the thread off completely.

    Let's all get along. ;)

Gxseries, that's wrong! British Commonwealth numismatics not only covers the numismatic items that were issued by the various parts of the British Empire (prior to 1947),but by the countries that are part of the British Empire's successor, which is the British Commonwealth.

I get sick to death of you dragging racism into it,so,as Roy says,"Please drop it!".

    Aidan.
