English and French are my mother tongues, I'm somewhat conversational in Greek, Spanish and German... and I'm fluent in Tolkien's Elven. lol (Maybe not as much as Klingon... but I've heard that speaking Elven is also like wearing an "I'm a Geek" sign)
Russain and English are the main languages for me, although I can converse in French and comprehend a little Italian, as well as being able to decipher numbers written in east european languages and arabic.
Quenya, right? That is VERY cool! It is such a beautiful sounding language. Much more so than Klingon especially!
Silvan actually, though I do speak a little Quenya. And yeah, I like to think it's nicer than Klingon... lol... but then, beauty is in the eye (or ear) of the beholder... or um... listener? lol Lissenen ar' maska'lalaith tenna' lye omentuva!
And Klingon isn't? My native language is English (of the American variety). Between my wife (who was a military brat born and partially raised in Bavaria) and I, we can read and make ourselves understood in German. She speaks a touch of Russian. And I can read some Biblical Greek. Which means I can also sound out most words that use the Cyrillic alphabet. I took ancient Hebrew once, but all I can do now is identify Hebrew letters.
I've heard several times over the years that KLINGON is actually some obscure dialect from the African continent, though I'm not sure how true that is. My first language is English and I speak a little Espanol...enough to get by...and I know a few sentences in Korean. Regarding KOREAN, the spoken language is very old and is supposedly the 3rd hardest on the planet to master. The KOREAN ALPHABET, known as Hangul, is very easy to learn. 24 characters. This alphabet was created by men of science and didn't evolve naturally so it's quite efficient and simple. Check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korean_language for more info. And if you want to learn more about it, visit http://www.langintro.com/kintro/index.htm. It's the best resource I've found on the 'net. Nick
