I picked up these from a collection recently. I know they are common sets, but I've heard there can be errors on certain sets? RPMs, etc. Any advice appreciated.

Check the 1970 set for the Lincoln cent small date.

Highly unlikely, but I guess you could check for the 1968 no S dime? Or the 1971 no S nickel? Hope springs eternal :)

Look carefully and use your red book to help determine varieties and errors.

The best place to look for Proof errors/varieties that I can think if right now of is the Cherrypicker's Guide Vol. 2.

Hard to believe but I was just reading in the 1968 dimes. And I think I got it right it is not an S but a few little flaws.

So I have a 1969 San Francisco proof set sealed - dime, quarter and one of the Pennie’s lack the “s” but the “s” is on the second penny and nickel. Thoughts?

There are a few variety sites to check. Ie Coppercoins, variety Vista, wexler files, coneca ...as for errors there can be anything - in theory - such as clashes and strike throughs.

That's a Mint Set, not a Proof Set

It’s a normal Mint set. Not a proof in the least.
