In the late 90's, CoinWatch had an arrangement with the US Mint where they got proof $25 AGE coins (1/2 ounce) directly from the Mint and made watches out of them. The boxes and watch carry the US Mint insignia.  As I recall, the new Mint Director at the time declared that the Mint was "...not in the jewelry business" and severed ties with CoinWatch. A few years ago, I bought a "New in Box" AGE CoinWatch for $400 and stored it away.
