What does it mean when someone "follows" you on the site, or you're following someone else?

Yes, with modern spoofing techniques he/she can try to use multiple aliases, but he can't change his/her instrument and tune. Loneliness can take many pathological forms and should be treated promptly. But thanks to all who report the outbreaks. Jim

How apropos, when I typed sorry, autocorrect spelled out the word $hi tty.

 

Exactly what takes place when you click on “Ignore” when viewing a members profile ? Can it be reversed in the future ? Do you no longer see everything/anything they post ? Does it block them from messaging you ? Is the member notified they’ve been blocked ? I’ve never taken advantage of this feature, even though it’s been recommended to me by members I know. Thanks

 

When I've ignored someone, they disappear from any threads I read. When I un-ignore them they return. I'm not sure about the ability to message them while they are in ignore status. I don't believe they get notified; I've never been notified that I've been ignored.

I'm sure one of the mods will clarify this for us.

If a member you “Ignore” starts a thread, do you see it at all ? What if the member you ignore tags you, or vice-versa ? Maybe I’ll just give it a try and see what happens.

I'm not sure about pay grade, but mentally I hovered around 3rd grade. If I was a fish I'd be thrown back in. Although if the bait was pizza or cheeseburgers I'd probably take the bait.

Why do these old responses keep popping up?
I've had several where the last response was from months before such as this one.

 

Since the post is gone my guess is its one of those spamers.Recently it started around the 4th and there still at it don't click on the links a virus etc is quite possible.

 

Yes, I've been getting a ton of the messages. I don't click on anything I don't know about, and even some I do to my friend's dismay. Ha!
