I didn't know nickels had a clad layer, much less a missing clad layer. OBV: http://s1262.photobucket.com/user/r...[user]=131711411&filters[recent]=1&sort=1&o=1 REV: http://s1262.photobucket.com/user/r...[user]=131711411&filters[recent]=1&sort=1&o=0
I don't think that picture is showing a missing clad layer at all. There is not even a description. Is that your Nickel? Maybe someone will correct me if I'm wrong but a Nickel has no clad layer..it is all made of Nickel
The one going for .99 cents with 1 bid.... forget it! Guy does not know what he's saying. More like Environmental damage.
The seller posted this on his page - quote "I just got an email from someone who said this can not be a missing clad layer error. Nickel's do not have clad layers, they are solid. So I am not sure but it could be a lamination error?" closed quote... not a Lamination Error
For grossly overcharging for postage. Ebay has suspended sellers for this. To refresh your memory, $3.30 to mail one nickel. Of course, the bidders knew that up front, but that doesn't change the facts.
If you say so. I'd charge 50c for one small coin - 49c postage plus 1c for the envelope. By the way, I've been on eBay for 16 years, 100% perfect Feedback of 2263. What the hell do I know?
