Well the one known example I have seen looked just like these when blown up - not saying they are they just look like it to me. Have you tried explaining to the seller that the pictures they use are bad? Because I would just skip these auctions - because the pictures make the coins look re-colored in my opinion. Plus you mentioned the return policy - the couple of auctions I just read says "see item description". Yet the item description does not include a return policy. So I am not sure what the return policy is - so again I have to skip. I am not saying this is a bad seller, but I would skip these auctions. Just my own opinion. This is also why I do not want good ebay seller list or bad ebay seller lists on these forums. You have obviously had good luck with the seller, but others haven't. Just because I had success with a seller does not mean you will have the same success.
Not me. Someone should download the auction pictures, then win a coin and take good pictures. Of course the auction pictures are really small - maybe someone could get large pictures from the seller for comparison.
Actually, I have probably had more bad from him than the rest - just not expensive problems. However, I was mostly involved as he was starting and have had numerous chats with him - not about his pics, though. He was quite amicable and his coins were more as pictured when he started. I will no longer buy anything from him due to my later experiences.
