Now that's what I'm talking about!! That is a beautiful coin that was harshly graded. I'd certainly see what JA thought about it. I'd ask for feedback on that specific coin. It sure looks like it should get a Gold Bean.
I haven't sent an order to CAC in probably 6 months. Tired of wasting my money. They are more inconsistent than PCGS, IMO. But yeah, having said that, I bet it would just green bean. You gotta have a 67 to get a gold, basically.
Yeah, your right. I have not sent a group in for quite a while either. I'm sitting on quite a few that need to go, but I need to cut it in half. I just don't feel like spending $400.00 + right now.
I know I'm tired right now, but I don't see a "Massive" hit on the reverse. I see a minor one on the buffalo's front shoulder. That hit could also be a planchet hit that did not get fully struck out.
LOL.. Gotcha, I kept looking at the image of that Buffalo, thinking, I'm missing something... Where is it? Man, I must be losing it.
Update on this Lincoln. I got it back and PCGS didn't put "weak D" on the holder. I called and was told that 2 graders didn't agree it was the weak D variety, and the guy on the phone actually said to me, "better luck next time!" I sent it back under "mechanical error" and they fixed it on their dime. All of a sudden, whatdoyaknow.... I'm right. Guess I DID have better luck the next time. Additionally, PCGS price guide is $600 for this coin in MS63. There are 2 in MS64 and one in MS65, which happens to be worth $8500!
