For Wheat Cents, I have no strong preference for TPG. Since I generally I am biased towards NGC for most other things though, I'd vote to send this one to NGC.
I have had better luck with PCGS in varieties and " oddities" which I would place any weak or no-D '22s. Jim
Here is an image from the PCGS site of a weak D graded at a XF45. Yours does NOT look better. Reed and Sparkles the Unicorn.
It’s been circulated, cleaned and retoned. You wanted opinions well now you got it. Reed and a not impressed Sparkles the Unicorn.
Sparkles, your obverse arrows are spot on. However, I'm not convinced I'm seeing wear on the reverse. That's why a Slider AU-62 would not surprise me.
Do you soak coins in snake oil before you post them? Or does your dealer? Im not trying to be funny, this has the same look as the last Lincoln you posted, then sent in and PCGS ahem straight graded it
I didn't touch it except to take pics. And the dealer I bought it from at the show didn't have a case full of "the same looking" coins. Like I said, he had it marked XF45.
That one shows significantly more luster, less marks, and zero question about the wear on the highpoints. I completely agree that this coin is 64.... which convinces me even more that your OP is 58.
Yeah but I think heavycam is seeing the similarities in my pics. As good as mine are with my crappy little point-n-shoot, they do come out a bit "shiny."
I have no idea what he's said. After a disagreement a while ago, I've had him blocked. If he's calmed down, it may be time to unblock him.
