My big interests are in the Mercury Dime's, Standing Liberty Quarters, Walking Liberty Halves, and Morgan's. There are a few foreign coins I enjoy. One of my favorite I collect for bullion are the 1947 and 1948 Cinco Peso's. Speaking of Bullion I'd have to count in the British Britania and the Mexican Libertad.
This thread is reassuring for me because I can see that I'm not the only one whose collecting interests are all over the place.

I collect Republican era Roman denarius, quinarius, sesturtius, victoratus, quadrigatus, and other Roman silver when they were really Rome.
Wow WingedLiberty!! I have to admit, When I roll hunt, every time I come across a rainbow toned Lincoln I have to put it aside. Those are some beauties!!
I like halves because you can put together a fairly nice collection of Kennedys, Franklins, Walkers and Barbers without going into the poor house. You can also assemble a nearly complete Seated Liberty collection on a modest budget. Many Early Halves in good to fine condition are less than a hundred bucks. The designs prior to Franklin really appeal to me.
One thing I enjoy is finding author signed books. I have been lucky at my local Goodwill store and have probably found 20-30. Just found a WWII book "Up Front" by Bill Mauldin that has a hand drawn cartoon and signature.
