Pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters. I want to collect halves as well. Mostly nickels though, they are my favorite.
Voted "None of the Above" because I'm currently very focused on military trade tokens as well as military payment certificates, chits, POGs while cautiously venturing into sutler tokens and scrip. The picture below contains examples of military "money" from the twentieth century. From top to bottom: a military payment certificate, six different denominations of trade tokens, a chit book, four separated chits, and an AAFES POG.
Large cents, Seated halves, walking halves, bust halves, morgan dollars, and peace dollars. I also checked none of the above because i collect gold coins too
My answer is all of the above plus currency , ancients, medieval, colonials and up to the 1960s (US COINS)...Unfortunately, I had to sell well over 90% of my numismatic holdings, but have restarted a 'Type Collection' as I mentioned above...I still have one of two albums of ancients and I'm going forward with that as an Emperor Portrait collection, as well as other Greek issues...and I began again with Silver Dollars and bullion. Basically, a mini-version of what i had a few years ago...
None of the above, I collect world coins in type sets, currently concentrating on Great Britain and France. Also slowly adding to a US 7070 type set.
Ditto. I'm concentrating on the older commems right now, but I still buy whatever appeals to me; mostly big silver coins like halves, dollars and foreign. The only copper I like are large cents of which I own several. I like gold, but buy the bullion coins solely.
I primarily collect Morgan's and Peace Dollars; however, I have type set I'm working on and I also like to buy World coins with designs that I find interesting. I also collect ASE's.
