I use a app magnifier to at least get get the point but is still blurry and when i want to zoom all the way in can't see nothing. I used a microscope but it made me get Bell's palsy for a whole day. My eye hurt really bad and my one side of my face was numb and droopy because of trying look In a tiny circle. But any ways I need something that zooms in and takes really good pictures. Any suggestions on what to use?
There are quite a few photography-centered threads in the forum archives if you're willing to search them out. Doing so should be an enlightening experience and likely answer most of the questions you may have. Good luck!
Iphone 6S Here are some of mine. I put the phone on a stable surface about 4 inches above the coin, then move the setup around under my kitchen lights until it's just right. I do not zoom the camera, but resize in Paint, and crop as necessary in the Windows photos program.
I used to use an Canon point and shoot, with macro capabilities, but I longed for a Nikon ever since I was a kid. Last few years I've been using a D810. Love the devil out of it, but its' heavy and the lenses are heavy, so the tripod comes into play.
I grew up imaging coins with film. It was an easy step going to DSLR. A great lens with most any camera body will get great results. Copper is tough to image compared to silver and gold. It takes a lot of practice to get it right.
