I'm just curious as to what y'all have obtained so far in 2012 silver bullion. Here is my list: American Eagle -- purchased from Mint Products (if you're looking for eagles with very few flaws, they are the best I have found.) Believe it or not, the 2012 eagles look very much like the 2011s. Britannia -- purchased from ModernCoinMart. Nice design. Beautiful coins. Proof-like finish for a bullion coin. Australia Koala -- purchased from Paradise Mint. Good design; they look better in person than online. Very nice coin with a proof-like finish. Just a notch below the Britannia. Australia Kookaburra -- purchased from Mint Products. Same comments as the koala. Canada Cougar -- purchased from Provident Metals. The design is the red-headed stepchild of the wildlife series. Both coins I ordered came with milk spots. Pretty disappointing. Australia Dragon -- purchased from Gainsville Coins, APMEX and ModernCoinMart. Good design. Nice coins, but finish is not as good as the koala and kookaburra. PAMP Suisse 100 Gram Dragon bar -- purchased on ebay. Very good design and proof-like finish. I'd like to hear anyone else's impression of what they have gathered so far in 2012 bullion. I'm a collector and not a stacker, so my comments are more focused on eye appeal than anything else.
So far in 2012, I did not buy much. Most I have bought so far in 2012 were mainly '70's 1-oz silver art bars, however, I did go to a local dealer yesterday and I found and bought a 1-oz 2000 Lunar Dragon for $45. I am also a collector and I am not a stacker. I am a "cherry-picker" in that I pick and choose what silver art bars that I am interested in and I end up buying what I like instead on trying to accumulate oz's.

Well i did buy another 10th anniversary maple leaf set (with 1/10 gold/platinum bullion along 1 oz silver) and this one for spot price
Fair question and I will answer that. The 2000 1-oz Lunar Dragon silver coin that I bought for $45 is part the the Perth Mint series 1 Lunar series (1999-2010). I have seen the "generic" silver Dragon rounds and bars on ebay and on various other places online, however, I think that most of those appeared after the Perth Mint 2012 Lunar Dragon silver coin came out. Here are a couple of pictures of the 2000 Lunar Dragon that I took yesterday:
So far 20 - 10oz silver bars, 1oz stagecoach bar, 1 roll 2012 ASE and $ 300.00 in junk. The bars are not anything special.
I usually buy silver art bars and buying this 2000 Lunar Dragon was "off the beaten path" for me so to speak but at $45, I could not turn down the Dragon.
Howdy folks, So far, I've bought two rolls of Silver Eagles, 3 Cougars (me and 2 grandkids), and the new Kook. Oh, and I finished subscribing to the basic stuff from the mint. peace, rono
