"Of course those are MS67.....a hard grade to get" You got that right. Most of the W's I have came from bu rolls and the best I received is 66. Have to be lucky.
Hey @Mark68, thanks for stopping by. You've found a lot of Ws? Luv to see what you've found. Feel free to post here. I know the title says my name, but all are free to post their finds. Found or purchased. Thanks again
Just FYI: 1) it is die break, not Dye brake; 2) not a lamentation, lamination, and no it isn't. It is a die break.
Thanks for asking! I did get home OK. I have been able to sort through $1120 in quarter rolls since I have been home and not a dang thing worth keeping. Back to reality I guess!! I was having great luck up north. Still need the butterfly and bat! I did find this odd foreign coin last year while searching dollar coins. I’ve never even heard of this country!!
Yeah, i know. I was seeing if @potty dollar 1878 was paying attention, and clearly, he wasn't. Thanks though.
This was my 200th in hand W mint mark quarter. I figured it would be M-B, but it was SRB... but don't worry
And i know this looks like i set this up, but i did not. Last week, a standing liberty. This week, a winged liberty. It'll be months before i see another of either.
Not always. I know it looks like my job is amazing, and lots of times it is, like today, but I'll get there later. Today also brought the "ugly side" of coin hunting to light, and i wanted to tarnish the little halo you all see above me. I give you... Urinal quarters. Know how i know they're urinal quarters? Because they're coated in that blue urinal stuff AND they smell like pee. Point is, it's not all glamorous. Sometimes, it's awful. *edit- i don't actually handle any of the stuff bare handed, and i only took a pic to share. By the time those coins get to me, they've been tumbled with a bleach solution.
