Aww, shucks, lol. Thanks. I'm just starting. It's truly amazing to see how people just want to share their coins. It's contagious.
NOT FOUND IN CIRCULATION! I bought this to go with my circulation finds though, as a "just in case". I've found 3 out of the 5 quarters, this is one of the missing ones, so i grabbed. It's an attractive coin though, so I'm posting. Silver
And i literally had someone buy this so i could ask @paddyman98 what caused this damage? It's clearly DEFDAM, pmd, but I've seen pulled coins before, this doesn't look like one of them. Thoughts, oh master of errors? Shame, it's a nicely struck coin. Traveled time well.
If it can't be explained how it occurred during the minting of the coin then it's not a mint error. Probably all known errors have an explanation.
It's clearly not a mint error, or this thing would be locked up at the Smithsonian, lol. Wasn't sure if you'd seen damage similar to this with an explanation. That's all, Thanks!
This young lady. Coolest thing today, this week, this month, this year, so far. Only third I've found total, in circulation. She was literally smiling at me before 7am this morning. I knew my week couldn't get better, lol.
That's right @potty dollar 1878 , another S mint mark too. You can't see it, because it's worn away, of course. But the 1925S is very rare indeed.
A visit from. @dano and @kkm , always nice to see you stop in. Check out my straight flush from this morning, lol. 39, 40, 41, 42, and a 43, lol. That's never happened before, as far as I'm aware.
I find it amazing at how these modern designs wear so fast! Granted, I, like many on the forum, poor over any change we receive, and I realize most don't, but still it is interesting to see the early wear patterns. Thanks again, and can't wait to see it!
See how beat up that one is? Heavy exposure to the elements, and not for very long. I looked through what i have on my lunch break, they're all heavily circulated, but yours is nice, lol.
