What’s the oldest coin you’ve found so far?

 

On the first page of this very thread, i think it's post 18, @potty dollar 1878 asked me the same thing... 1901 V nickel! Only one, so far. That'll tell you how rare they are in circulation, since i used to find so much "rare" stuff every day! How bout you? What's your oldest/favorite coin? Just cuz my name is at the top of the thread doesn't mean I'm the only one who can post pics here !

 

Yep I seen that, crazy and great find and yeah I haven’t heard of anyone finding a v nickel in circulation expect for you! But my favorite coin/s are the barbers as in the dimes, quarters, and half’s I love them all they’re my fav I have quite a few in my collection. But it would be pretty insane if you found a barber in change.
