I suspect hoarding because of silver prices. Many probably saw very little circulation compared to the Silver War Nickels when the Government controlled prices.
Extra extra! Read all about it! Snow blankets the north east! Covid cases on the rise! @CoinJockey73 gets skunked! Have a nice weekend, everyone.
Hey there’s 2 1968 quarters. Check if your top left one is silver. I have neither. Hope you got both. You might have a good one there. 1968 50 % silver 71 million and the 1968 100% nickel. 88 million. 1967 has 80% and 50% silver quarters 48 million for both. Bet you knew that right
Oh looks like you did know that. I have one with a bobcat silver quarter. Maybe that a 1968. It was part of my 3 coin silver hoard. Now where is it?
I've been looking into Canadian quarters now, and i saw that bobcat one is pretty rare! Good for you! I'll be looking for the 2000 with a P on it next week. Never know.
I always look at this, at the end of the week and think, crap week. But then i get rid of the junk nickels, bring it all together before putting in ziplok baggies and realize Another banner week. Doesn't get much better. Thanks coin gods.
I'm sure no one cares but i had another "checkfate" this week. I saw this on ebay and hadn't bought anything in a long time, and i had two bucks burning a hole in my pocket (Still in plastic) Came in the mail last week, didn't even think about again, until i was putting those proofs away. What was the year of that 90s proof again? Oh yeah Guess the coin gods are telling me, i shouldn't have bought it, we were sending you one in a few days!
