Not bad for 10 bucks, huh? On the bay, they're going for a few bucks higher, so i saved a few, and i got to support a local merchant with a whopping 10 bucks! I hope he wasn't counting on my sale to pay the electric bill, lol.

Wasn't today, was yesterday.
But is it coincidence, or kismet, that i found this one coin, just one coin, outside the cab to the airport, on the ground, next to my foot?


I've found maybe, a dozen of these at work, but this one i actually found internationally, on the ground, and it's mine! I couldn't believe my eyes! Nothing special, but the serendipity of it, no one could believe it.
I spend just a little time while away, trying to find a local coin or two in silver, but that wasn't happening. I'll have to find one stateside, and post when it arrives.
I thought this was an incredible coincidence though, so did everyone i was traveling with. Especially after i had to explain why i was taking pictures with two quarters in my hand, like this, lol.

I wonder why ppl were taking such wide berths around me the whole time? There's nothing wrong with a 50 year old man walking around a resort with two silver quarters, taking pictures of them in beautiful, romantic settings, laughing out loud, and talking to himself about how pretty, and shiny they look in the tropics... right?

 

My apologies to @Bradley Trotter. I fibbed in this post, alluding to being in Florida. I may be a big buffoon here, but I'm actually a pretty private person, IRL. Now that I'm posting pics of where i kind of might have been, i didn't want you to think i was a big jerk, just very protective of me and mine.
