What could your favorite coin buy the year it was struck?

It imitated the design of the coins of their homeland. Things didn't didn't work out for poor Perseus - the Romans were ascendant and he lost his war against them - but that lost war created some lovely coins like this miniature masterpiece.</p><p><br /></p><p>This is one of my favorites.
