what coins i should get

    The fun thing about ancients is there is many areas you can goto, greek, roman, judea, middle east. Im more of a roman guy myself as thats where I began as well as find the most interest of in the historical area of ancients, followed by greek.

    Most beginners choose to go the roman route since there is many to choose from and at many price points. And sadly there is no online price guide for ancients like moderns. One day a common coin of a certain emperor can go for $30 and later next week the same kind of coin can have a bidding war and go for $90.

    Plus all ancients have been cleaned due to being buried for 2500+ years and ancient collectors prefer them raw, not silly slabs.

    If you like silver try the link below of that site, some good silver at cheap prices. They are not MS quality but most ancients arent. They average the size of a dime/weight of a copper penny.
