Duncan Elias (1984) is a great reference book. It is a nice combination of coin facts and history. It has a rarity scale and chapters for each King/Ruler but no mintages.</p><p><br /></p><p>I also purchased "A Manual of Anglo-Gallic Gold Coins" by R.R. Beresford-Jones (1964) which is a a small book , 100 pages, but it also a great mixture of coin specifications, history and a few maps.
