The (2) is my son's first silver coin he ever found.  When my son was 9 or 10 years old and on Saturday mornings both my son and I would go and wash the car and he enjoyed taking the $5 I gave him to get some quarters for us to wash the car.  On this particular Saturday he came back from the coin machine and asked me why this quarter looked different than the others.  He had found a 1960 Silver Quarter and he was so excited that he was jumping up for joy.  I put it into a 2X2 and he placed it with pride on this desk.  Well over the years despite raising him the best as I could as a single parent he decided to take the not so straight path in life and started to deceive and manipulate people to get what he wants.  The day he left the house, he took his things and basically destroyed his room.  It looked like a grenade went off in his room.  As I went in to clean up the mess I found his silver quarter in the corner underneath a ton of junk.  A tear came to the corner of my eye and I took that quarter and but into my personal collection.  I often look at it and remember the good times my son and I had.  We don't talk at all anymore (and not because of me not trying) and I really do regret this.  One day when my time is over I will leave if for him with a small note telling him I always loved him and was always proud of him.  I miss my son.
