I had joined in 2007, posted perhaps 10 times or so, and must have wandered off back to the PCGS/Collectors Universe boards, apparently forgetting all about this place, because I have no recollection of my 2007 newbie days. I joined the PCGS/CU forums in 2001. By 2016 their software had become obsolete and was replaced with a horribly buggy interim platform. Then they rolled out their modern "upgrade", which I found to be a wretchedly user-unfriendly interface. Disgusted, I became a refugee. So thanks for changing to a platform I hate, PCGS - it drove me over to CoinTalk! A happy accident, you might say. ;) Of course I still have plenty of friends over on the PCGS/CU boards, and post there occasionally. It is still a great place to sell higher-quality coins. So I didn't burn any bridges. I don't have anything against the people over there. Just the software. But I found I liked the culture over here. The interface is nearly perfect, in my opinion, and the forum culture is good. I like that there is such a robust Ancient Coins forum here. I do wish that the World Coins forum was more active, and that maybe we had a Treasure Hunting/Metal Detecting forum. But it's all good. :)
