I had been participating on forums in other categories for years, and finally decided I should do the same for the only hobby I've pursued almost nonstop since childhood. Same here. Unfortunately life gets in the way from time to time but I do find my way back here. Somehow, the ancients have sucked me in though.
I work too much. Kids grew up and I wanted to reinvigorate my love of the hobby. Now I have to work twice as hard to pay for all the love affairs I started in the “For Sale” section.
I 'googled' Kurt Bellman Orange Show and found this clip of Kurt beating some numismatic sense into an unfortunate newbie silver stacker (at 0:50)
I had initially come here to discuss coins and the market ect something I enjoyed. But over the last several months the one sided moderation by one in particular (gets old when their political views determine their moderation) so like many others that have left I am on the verge of doing so as well and believe I will be. I’ve thought about it a few days and there’s just nothing fun here when you can’t even correct flat out wrong information without suffering personal attacks for pages and pages and then be told it’s your fault for correcting it.
And shut up, you young'uns.........live and learn. 'Grumpy' is an acquired condition. Check back with me in about 15 years.......
