One more 2014 goal is maintain my US mint and proof sets +AME proof sets. As for my cancer I got good news it's dormant and if stay dormant one more year. Doctor said I could be clear of that threat . So jello /Angelo should be here bugging ya!
My updated goals are: 1. Complete my Roosevelt Silver Dimes collection 2. Purchase my first Braided Hair Half Cent 3. Finish my clad Washington Quarter set 4. Finish my Kennedy Halves set 5. Buy my first and last 20-cent coin 6. Finish my ASE set 7. Finish my Large Cent collection 8. Purchase a 1918 Illinois Centennial coin 9. Purchase the rest of my Lincoln Wheat set except 1909-S and 1909-S VDB. If I stick to this list, I wont be poor by 2015 lol
Stop collecting so many lower grade, common issues and get semi key and key date coins. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
After many years of buying most everything the mint had to offer, I quit. I plan to keep my Silver Eagle set complete but I'm done with anything else modern.
My goal is to pick up three more silver eagles (one for each of my children) To finish my coin book, basically a notebook listing which coins are worth a little more, which are worth melt, where to sell them in case they need to be sold, also I have been pretty good about saving money for my coin purchases, so maybe I will finish out my IHC set this year.
Coin-tinue collecting for my AU 55 Barber Quarter to low MS set. Today I just bought a NT BU 1897 BQ. I'll post pics when I get more time. My goal is to have the complete P series by years end. With my new position at work, it just might be possible. Except for the 1913 S, I think that in VG runs a few hundred bucks, if not more if memory serves correctly.
I hope to add another 10 So-Called Dollars to my collection. I'm getting into the tricky ones now. I also hope to catalog & photograph everything that I already have. I'm at least months away from achieving that goal.
I'm also hoping to buy smarter and to focus on buying just a few great coins not just a bunch of nice but not exceptional coins like I so often do when there's nothing I really want out there and I need a fix
I mainly collect and deal with bullion, but that aside.....I`m going to find a nicely toned Barber quarter that`s at least a solid MS example. Last year I found a Barber quarter while metal detecting an old farmhouse that goes back to the 1880s. It was a 1904 o that was in hideous shape. (especially considering that dug silver coins are usually preserved well for being in the ground) It`d be nice to have an MS example to compare the dug one with......Jekyll and Hyde if You will.
It wasn't a goal, but I just bought the 2013 Roosevelt Chronicles Set. I'm incredibly excited to get this in hand.
My goals: 1) Add to my Overton Busties; 2) learn more about Bust $1/2's; 3) Learn more about everything that I can read about.
I may send one of grandpa hand me downs graded. But the Bust half dime has two rim dings on the reverse 1836
That is a very good goal. Knowing what you have and being able to show them off here on CT is very rewarding in and of itself.
Yeah, when I first started here you were a regular fixture, and it feels like it's been a few years since I saw your awesome avatar on a regular basis. Welcome back!!
