I've been away from the boards for a while and upon my return I notice so many new names. How exciting to see our Coin talk community growing! I thought it might be fun to hear what everyone is currently pursuing. I'll start... Morgans...(I know, big surprise) STILL working on my date set, only a few more to go! Dansco 7070 Type Set. This has been more fun than I could have ever imagined! It's really opened my eyes to other series that I'm sure I'll pursue eventually. Family year sets...Only a few more to go to be current. These will serve as a sort of time capsule for Joe when he's older to tell the story of our geneology (sp?) and other important dates in our past. Joe's birthyear bullion set (silver) is about done (big thanks to tradernick for helping me with that elusive Maple ;) ), unless I decide to move forward and expand it to include gold. My other thought is to back up 100 years and begin adding 1897 to it as well. I'm slowly but surely building a short set of Walkers. I'll devote more time, energy and $$ to these once my Morgans are a bit closer to completion. And of course Joe's world coin collection. He currently has 2 LARGE binders full...with no duplicates (those are stored in boxes). This is a continuous source of fun for BOTH of us! And last, but definitely NOT least...I've dipped my toes into the vast pool of world gold...thanks to GD ;) . I'm hooked! There is a world of beauty out there that I was completely unaware of, thanks for opening my eyes Doug. Sure, I have tons of other random things, but this covers most of the things that we actively pursue. Although my coin budget has been redirected this past month. In light of our travels and my trepidation of leaving everything home (and it all wouldn't fit in a safe deposit box) we've had a rather large safe installed in the house. The measure of added security and peace of mind it gave me while we were gone has been worth every penny. OK, your turn...what are YOU working on?
