Just curious. Currently it's snowing harder and harder in Denver so I made a quick trip to Chase. Grabbed 10 rolls to enjoy with some hot tea and the snowy background... Was hoping for some brand new rolls, maybe even a roll of Maya's but this all looks fun too
Just standing by waiting for the casino to get next shipment of coin. Will see if the new quarters come in.
About to hunt a new snow shovel...lol no worries snowy days are great for the excuse to play with your collection.
It makes a pretty picture but I don't miss the white stuff - always hated living and dealing with it. ........we never see a flake here in the North Island, NZ., although it can be cold enough to get some occasional hail.
we see snow maybe twice a year but always in a hurry for it to melt the next day most times. I don't even like seeing it on TV lol
There were only a few 2021s and a few beauties but nothing 2022. Last year the Tuskegee Airmen showed up within a month or so, but the Washington Crossing didn't show up until December. Even though I search a whole lot of rolls and live literally about 6 miles from the Denver Mint lol!
What are you hunting? Rabbit! But I wouldn't mind having a few rolls to go with my coffee. Bear claws please.
Finally! This is how long it took for these to show up as fresh rolls...and I'm in Denver lol! Not only that but I live only about 6 miles from the Denver Mint, true. My banks are large local Chase banks and local Credit Unions...Some of them are even closer to the mint. I still haven't seen rolls of Tuskegee at any of my banks either if you can believe it. I'd really like some Maya rolls!!! I'm opening these two (carefully) in just a few minutes...
Grabbed a couple rolls of quarters and halves...promptly dropped the bag on the stone floor of the bank lobby. Hope there weren't too many MS69's in there Speaking of things dropping... We dropped 66 degrees in 9 hours, ALMOST a Colorado record. -2 in Denver right now, I'm working from home today... I know what I'm doing during my lunch lol!
Been searching for decades and I have never seen a white roll from Loomis. From my credit union today. They don't take customer rolls because they have a coin counting machine for loose coins, they only get Loomis...
Just arrived...I got a ridiculous deal at about $4 per roll after shipping! Full disclosure I already have quite a collection of mint rolls but I could not resist...look at that toning on two of the rolls! A bunch of my nickel mint rolls from the Return to Monticello series are toning blue or gold...but not THAT gold! This color is accurate...I may have to open one or two of these this weekend...
Thought I'd do a morning coffee update rather than just post a search result... I'm still seeing pretty much zero Maya's here in Denver lol. So I broke down... have a connection in NY...just ordered a nice handful of solid Maya Loomis rolls from her (she ended up with a whole box!) I'm envious...but now I get to participate I'll definitely post them when they arrive and when I start opening them... At the same time I just scored some "genuine" vintage wheat penny rolls! Been a while since I ordered a batch...they are about a dozen rolls probably made in the 70's of what seem to be basically unsearched wheats. Many excellent finds have been happening with them. There is nothing suspicious about them and I had some excellent communication with the seller as well, and made an offer for a bunch of his rolls because of the good vibe I was getting. I got the rolls for less than $15 each and I'm sooooo excited! I could use some encouragement I am still dealing with (14th month now) with the serious effect of my Covid long-haul issues but also still SLOWLY improving in many ways as well. Hoping to get down to Colorado Springs tomorrow and Saturday for the National Money Show and bump into some folks from the forum(s)... Mainly, please encourage me to make some new videos opening these rolls!!! It's been a real challenge for the last year for a bunch of reasons. Much love for all you CRHunters!
