We were found in a half dollar tube filled with little silver globs - we think we are money, but we're not sure what we are, where we are from, and if we have a monetary value. Neither of us are magnetic.

Ooh, that's a good guess. Looks just like an 1800's 1/4 Baht (which weighs about 3.6 - 4.0 grams.) Nice job!

I agree with @spirityoda. Not because I know doodley-squat about Thai bullet money, but I've seen stuff like this out there, is all.

(Edit: "out there" in cyberspace, I meant.)

    Yes, @coin_nut is in Thailand.

I didn't think to tag him. Good call.

It appears to be Thailand bullet money (as previously mentioned). The link below has some books and auction catalogs and the pics listed as Bullet Money look like yours. Google Thailand Bullet Money

I have no idea if yours are authentic or reproductions

Cool, first time I been "tagged". I agree the first one is pod duang. The second one I don't know. It appears to be bowl shaped, concave on one side and convex on the other. Weren't some Byzantine coins made that way, only much thinner? forget what they were called.
