They are obviously copper/bronze, as they&#039;ve been assigned BR/RB/RD designations. However, I can&#039;t find them described in &quot;<i>North American Coins and Prices&quot;</i>, nor on any of the websites that I&#039;ve used to generate lists of coins needed for the collection. I know that states issued coinage pre-1872, but I thought that was limited to fractional Reals (coppers anyway). Can anyone shed some light on these?
