Ok here is the scoop, I bought a neat coin that I always wanted one once I found out about it. Anyhow it is not an expensive coin so I will just start with a picture.

So I win this auction and I proceed to negotiate some best offers as he had some Kennedy's I wanted. Nice guy really and he got the best of me a little on the final coin but I was still happy.

I also purchased a PR64 Cameo version of the same coin above. Now here is where it gets strange. After I have paid and we are done, he tells me that this coin above was a PCGS PR67 and he sent it to ANACS to get the Type 1 designation and it comes back a PR63. He did not seem to upset about and said it happens all the time on crossovers. I was floored! I mean from what I read on here I can see PCGS downgrading an ANACS by 2 or 3 grades, but the other way by 4?

I do not think he is lying at all, has no reason to....Well I guess I know nothing about TPG's now. Nice guy really and he got the best of me a little on the final coin but I was still happy. I also purchased a PR64 Cameo version of the same coin above. Now here is where it gets strange. I do not think he is lying at all, has no reason to....Well I guess I know nothing about TPG's now. I can not wait to get it in hand and look at it.. What say you?
