Our local monthly coin show is tomorrow 03-09-08. I havebeen buying silver bulk for the last few months but now will look for other things like wheats.
About 3 months ago at the show I picked up 1000 to a zip lock of 1940's and 1930's for 15.00 each. I only got 3 of each but was surprised at how many 1920's and teens were in them. If this guy who shows up every month at the show is there tomorrow I will buy more. Silver and Gold are getting to hot,so I figure its good time to move to the cent

I'm inclined to believe that anyone that works on construction sites knows the horrors of those that work with copper these days. Doesn't matter where you are.

Plumbers and electricians get hit hard I've been to sites where ALL plumbing has been removed TWICE.

I used to pick up scraps constantly on sites now it's a rarity. Companies require their employees to take all scrap with them. As they should.

I'm saving copper cents- but not for me. I figure by the time my kids are grown they may have significant value over face. Could be wrong but the investment is insignificant- so what the heck. I do know there are a lot of folks out there that wished they would've saved all the 90% silver change that passed through their hands in the mid to late 60's. I'm one of them.
