    The color and originality of that piece is stunning. Absolutely gorgeous!

    Could you tell use more about it? Hard to read the devices in the video, although I like the way the video shows how the light moves on the surfaces. Do you have some still photos to augment the video?

    That medal is on my want-but-never-will-get list.

    If I understand it correctly, the medal commemorates the death of Gustavus II Adolphus, King of Sweden and leader of the Protestant during the 30 Years' War. It was designed by Sebastian Dadler, one of the finest medalists of the 17th century.

    And...it is not cheap. I think it is a low 5-figures item (in USD).

    unfortunately, its not mine..but, there is another thaler in which l fell in love..margherita di foix, 38.7o g..beginning of 16th century..

    Beautiful piece. What is the diameter out of curiosity? I hope he was holding that over a soft pillow in the event he gets a case of the butter fingers.

    oh no no, wcg..l wish..its very very pricey..l think 25.000 swiss franks..its sell by astaresa sa auctions..but, l fall in love straith away..if l have money on the side..but, l like your post..
