Purchased this 1829 Coin today...and was wondering what i would grade...its hard to grade this series since it varies... weak strike/others....so can you help me out once more??? All opinions are greatly appreciated=) thanks alot again.. and good luck and happy hunting=) -acsf89
I did not realize there are so many over numbers for this date...geez Overton 101, Overton 102, Overton 103, Overton 104, Overton 105, Overton 106, Overton 107, Overton 108, Overton 109, Overton 110, Overton 111, Overton 112, Overton 113, Overton 114, Overton 115, Overton 116, Overton 117, Overton 118, Overton 119 But im not sure which overton it is....
Wow, I would say this is a tough series to grade! With the reverse as strong as it is, I would have said F-12.
g-4 to g-6 really?? that seems really low....it thought it would be at least vg to fine rating... hmm...
Overall, I like the original look of the coin. I don't care for the dark areas on the obverse. Not my series, but I'd grade it a solid VF 25, shot 30.
