    This poor girl has had a rough life. Struck very early in the Mint's existence. Plugged, counter-marked and Graffitied. J. Stapleton was a gunsmith. This may be his love token for his bride to be.

    My oldest US coin is an 1841-O dime,

    Oldest coin period is carried with me every day, a 1780 Spanish 4 Reales that very likely circulated as a Half Dollar in the early USA.

    I would not mind having a nice example of a 1787 Fugio Cent. "MIND YOUR BUSINESS" I love it!
