A friend stopped by 1:30 PM or so and said it was even busier then -- late-arriving crowd apparently on the 2nd day of this show, whereas Parsippany NJ folks are packing up by 1 PM or so. </span></font></p><p><font size="4"><span style="color: #000000"><br /></span></font></p><p><font size="4"><b><span style="color: #00b300">I spoke for a few minutes to an OOS ancient dealer who had 2 cases of interesting coins. </span></b><span style="color: #000000"> He'll be at the Mt. Kisco show in 2 weeks (</span><b><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0)"><i>anybody going ?</i></span></b><span style="color: #000000">) and also the NY Numismatic International at the Grand Hyatt right after FUN. Had some interesting coins with emperors and dicatators I never heard about before. A Caligula gold coin piqued my interest -- up until the time I found out it cost $3,500.<img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie4" alt=":mad:" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" /></span></font></p><p><font size="4"><br /></font></p><p><font size="4"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0)">More and more of the dealers have multiple brands with which to market (the ancient guy I chatted with, him and his firm he was affiliated with only dealt in ancients): Saints & Morgans, Currency and Bills, Raw ungraded coins in those white square things, and foreign/ancient coins. </span></font></p><p><font size="4"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0)"><br /></span></font></p><p><font size="4"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0)"><b>Didn't see as many bullion dealers as I do at the Parsippany, NJ show.</b></span></font></p><p><font size="4"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0)"><br /></span></font></p><p><font size="4"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0)">Heard a couple of dealers extolling ancients/foreigns to one another with the much lower pop numbers.
