Welcome back, Erin! There’s no place like home! Especially if your AC collection is there waiting! Wondrous and generous gift from @Theodosius! Did you visit any Viking sites while in Newfoundland?
It was definitely nice to come back to the ACs . I tried to get people interested down there. But, they're just like everybody else we know. "They're FAKE, stop wasting your money." We didn't get to any Viking sites, they were a good few hours drive north of where we were staying. We did get to the Arches in Gros Morne National Park which was pretty sweet. My sister has a good pic of it, I'll try to get it from her. My dad has certain spots that he 'needs' to visit in Nfld. Other than church and family, the third most important is the Antique Emporium in Corner Brook which we visited three times, spending no less that 30 mins in there each time. We packed in a lot in the two weeks we were there and, although it was good to get home, I kinda wish we had another week there. Erin
LOL! They must be fake, otherwise they'd be: a) In a museum b) Worth a lot of money c) Worth a lot of money so why don't you sell them and buy something good like a huge television or something that burns up a lot of gasoline.
Lol! That's pretty much how it goes. I heard the museum talk a few times. I told them that when they come and visit, bro and I can give them a tour of our 'mini' museum. Erin
I don't even tell people anymore about the collection. Most of them wouldn't understand how in hell it can be worth more than their big car. I show on request only, which isn't often. But I have friends to show my treasures to, here at CT Q
Many of your collection interests are similar to mine. I honestly would really enjoy viewing your collection some day. You are always welcome to visit my home anytime, however, I know it would be very difficult to bring your collection.
I can use the exact same words towards you Brian : my door is open anytime you want to visit and it will be easier by far to see my coins here. Plus I must have some old Bordeaux (as old as the mid 90') somewhere in the cellar Next time I visit the USA, I would of course be happy to have a look at your collection All the best Q
Some exceptional coins in there Erin! Since I've joined the forum I've also received some great gift coins as well. All due to the kindliness of the folks here. Congrats on the great trip, too.
